New beginnings 06.09.13
Welcome back to Trendle Class after the Summer break. The children have come back refreshed and enthused, ready for our exciting new learning experiences. Thank you for your support and dedication with the children's Holiday Diaries. I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing all of their amazing adventures.
We have spent the last few days getting to know each other and our learning environment. To do this, we have explored our classroom by making guided tours, planning routes and measuring distances, and making labels to help us find the resources that we will need.
Alongside this, we have also shared our thoughts and feelings in Circle Time sessions and considered how we can make our learning happy and focused by following our 'C' values. This links in with our Worship sessions for this half-term which are focused on the value of 'Caring'.
Next week is our whole school Topic Week about staying 'Safe and Secure'. Trendle Class are also looking forward to dipping into this term's learning topic about 'Captivating Celts' with their Learning Capture visit to the New Barn Field Centre at Bradford Peverell. We look forward to sharing all of this exciting learning with you.
