Week 3 The Three Little Pigs

This week we are reading the traditional tale 'The Three Little Pigs'. Miss Stephens has made a video retelling the story with puppets!

This weeks home learning challenges have included watching Miss Stephens reading the story of the 'Three Little Pigs' (dressed up with her piggy ears!) then retelling the story in our own words. We have also been making our own story maps, drawing pictures and adding some words to retell the story. Some of us used our maps to write the story! 

We have also been researching real pigs, reading facts about what they like to eat and where they live. We have also been exploring the different materials used to build our own houses. We have been drawing pictures and labelling the different materials, as well as thinking about the properties. 

I hope everyone enjoys celebrating VE Day at home today! Maybe you will colouring in some bunting to hang in your window or outside your house! Enjoy the sunshine!
