Happy New Year 10.1.19

Happy New Year to everybody. We have started the new term eager to start learning. This week we have considered what we would like to learn in our topic 'Polar Regions' and the children would love to turn our classroom into the Artic or Antarctica and have icebergs, snow and an explorers tent. The children also would like to do some art and this week we decided to make some polar bears using chalk and charcoal. They are now on display in our classroom. We are looking forward to next week when we hope to learn a bit more about how the Titanic sunk. This subject has been chosen because some children in the class really are fascinated by this event and it involves an iceberg!!!!
