Owls and Adding! 22.11.19

In Maths this week we have been learning about number bonds! The Year Ones have been learning their number bonds to 10 and addition and subtraction facts within 10. The Year Twos have been learning their number bonds to 20 and have been learning about addition and subtraction facts within 20. Can you continue to practise these at home? 

 

In English this week we have been continuing to plan our owlet stories based on the book 'Owl Babies.' The children have finished creating their characters, they've been describing the settings for their stories and they are excited to write them next week! 

 

We are so looking forward to our Forest School day on Monday. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for a day outside. They do not need to be in school uniform. Please can they have lots of layers, including a waterproof coat and trousers if possible. Please can they have either Wellington Boots or supportive trainers/walking shoes. Gloves and a hat would also keep them warm in this chilly weather!
