Starting School! 05.09.14

We have had a wonderful first week back at school. The children have settled in very well already! They have been busy getting used to the school environment, routines and most importantly they have been finding out where all the best toys are! This week, we have had lots of 'Choosing Time' which is when the children get to choose what they learn through play, we have also had several stories and the children are gradually showing their special boxes to the class. Giant Class have also been enjoying the hot school meals, it has been lovely to see them so confident and to be mixing with the rest of the school.
Giant Class have loved meeting their buddies again and the buddies have been looking after them very well, so much so that they always want them to stay to learn with them.
It has been lovely to watch their confidence grow in just 3 days, it will be exciting to see them develop further over the next few weeks!
