Gardens and Fun with Water 26.04.13
This week we have started our learning about Global Gardens by looking at different types of gardens around the world. The children are looking forward to our visit to Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens next week where we will be introduced to many unusual and exotic plants from different countries and climates.
Linking with our study of plants, we have been making some seed shakers which we will be using in our creative music sessions. We hope to perform some of our compositions in our next Learning Exposure later this half-term.
In our Maths sessions this week, the children have enjoyed learning more about Capacity. This has involved lots of practical activities with estimating and measuring with water that plants would need.
