Learning Captures 14.11.13
What an exciting and busy week we have had! This week we have begun our new learning about 'Journeys' with several Learning Captures. On Wednesday, we had a visit from the Space Odyssey Planetarium, which used some amazing 360 footage to bring the Planets and the Solar System to life. Linked to this, we have started our diary writing based on 'The Man on the Moon', and we have created designs for our rocket models which we will start constructing next week.
Today,the children have been taking part in a Forest School experience where they have made 'journey sticks' to tell a story. We have spent the other half of the day looking at maps and going on a journey round the village, taking photos of all the important features and places. Next week we will create our own maps.
